Judgment of the Blades in Genshin Impact: How to Complete All Challenges

We tell you how to successfully complete all stages of the temporary event and correctly use the “Mirage of Blades.”

Judgement of the Blades in Genshin Impact is a combat event taking place in patch 4.0. In addition to the usual mechanics, it will use the unique “Mirage of Blades”. With proper implementation of the effect, you can make the battle with various monsters easier and collect more rewards, including source stones, pestilence and resources for leveling up talents.

In this guide we will tell you how to pass the Judgment of Blades, complete all stages and implement the “Mirage” blades.”

How to start an event

You can open the temporary event Judgment of the Blades after fulfilling a number of conditions:

• reach adventure rank 18;
• complete the Archon quest “Song of Dragon Freedom.”

The Judgment of Blades event will begin September 42023 at 10:00 Moscow time (on the Europe server) and will last until September 18 2023 03:59 Moscow time.

From the start of the temporary event, new levels are opened daily, of which in total complexity6 tests. All of them represent battles with opponents in a mysterious mirage. Levels are divided into special modes “Celestial” and “Resolve”:

• “Celestial” – contains three difficulties: normal, hard and expert. If you start a stage immediately from the last level, the easier stages will be automatically counted.

  
• ” Determination “ – available only after completing the “Celestial” mode at the expert level.

  

  

Each battle has two conditions: a limited time and the number of enemies that must be killed to complete stage.

To successfully complete the task, adhere to the given conditions and use the unique mechanics Mirage of Blades to make the task easier.

The level of the world does not affect the difficulty of the challenges of this event.

Mirage of Blades

Mirage of blades is an additional mechanic that, if followed, can significantly reduce the battle time and strengthen your team. It is indicated for each test separately and gives some buffs.

For example, if a hero loses HP, then all elemental and physical damage increases for 6 seconds. Additionally, there may be Pneuma or Usia blocks on the field, thanks to which you can weaken opponents with the opposite energy.

Decisive attitude

The first test of the event is located in Fontaine in the west of the Beryl region, southwest of Elinas. Move to the nearest teleport and proceed to the coast, where there is a special arena with a test.

The following stage applies Blade Mirage:

• When a character loses HP, they gain a 60% bonus to all elemental and physical damage for 6 sec. An Ushii energy block will be present during the test.

Interact with the challenge to begin the battle.

Celestiality

In the “Celestial” mode, you will have to fight with the following opponents:

• Special mechs Assault and Elimination.
• Meks Intelligence Protocol and Improved calculations.
• Hydro chemists of the Treasure Thieves .

The mode consists of three difficulty levels – complete the challenge on expert difficulty, killing 10 enemies in 180 secondsto get all the rewards at once.

In battle, do not forget to use ushii blocks. The meks in this test have the power of pneuma, so hitting them with the opposite energy will weaken them.

To activate the mirage of the blades it takesevery 6 sec. lose healthto get a damage buff. It is not necessary to take characters that have built-in mechanics for changing HP – just getting hit by enemies is enough. Monitor your characters' health levels to successfully complete the levels.

Determination

Resolve mode is available after completing the previous expert level. Opponents in this stage:

• Special units Assault, Suppression and Elimination.
• Mechs Intelligence Protocol and Improvement of calculations.
• Hydro chemists of the Treasure Thieves.

All enemies in this mode haveLevel 95. As at the previous difficulty level, ushii blocks are placed on the field. Use them to weaken your enemies. With the exception of the level of the opponents, the principle of the challenge does not change in any way compared to the previous one.

Complete the challenge in Resolve mode to receive all the rewards for the first stage of the event:

• 70 source stones.
• 2 instructions about “Impartiality”.
• 3 Unfinished Echoes of the Ancient String.
• 40,000 Moras.
• 4 magic ore enhancements.

Inevitable distribution

Second stage takes place in the same place where the arena with the previous one is located. Approach the challenge to begin the battle.

Mirage of the Blades Stage Two:

• When a character uses the Stimulate, Aggravate, Spread, Burn, or Budding reaction on an enemy, or the enemy takes damage from a Dendro Core explosion (including Bloom and Vegetation reactions), that enemy's Defense is reduced by 75% for 8 sec. During the test, hydrogranum will be present.

Before the start of the battle, take characters into the Dendro squad so that you can cause the necessary reactions.

Celestiality

The following enemies will be encountered in Celerity:

• Ruin Dragon: Sky Guardian.
• Ruin Guardian.
• Ruin Sentinels: Ruin Patroller, Ruin Crusher, Ruin Spy.

In each difficulty challenge you have to defeat 7 opponents in 180 seconds. Complete the challenge on Expert to receive rewards from previous difficulties.

During the battle, hydrogranums periodically appear on the field. Collect three pieces to create a Hydro aura around the active character, which will apply elemental status to opponents.

Trigger reactions with Dendro Element at least once every 8 sec to activate the Blade Mirage buff and reduce enemy resistance.

Resolve

The Resolve Challenge is unlocked by completing Celerity on Expert Difficulty. Enemies in this mode are level95. You need to defeat 11 opponents in 150 seconds. You need to fight with the following opponents:

• Dragons of the Ruins: Guardian of the Heavens and Guardian of the Earth.
• Ruin Thresher.
• Guardian of the Ruins.
• Ruin Sentinels: Ruin Patroller, Ruin Crusher, Ruin Spy.

As on the easier difficulty, there are Hydrogranums on the battlefield, which will make it easier to trigger a reaction to reduce the defense of enemies.

Complete the challenge in Resolve mode to receive all the rewards for the second stage of the event:

• 70 source stones.
• 2 instructions on “Justice”.
• 3 Pure Dewdrop Condensate.
• 40,000 mora.

• 4 magic ore enhancements.

Rushing Currents

Return to the west coast of Elinas to complete the third stage of the event. As before, go to the arena challenge to begin the passage.

Mirage of the Blades in the third stage:

• When a character uses the Charged reaction against an enemy, the damage dealt is increased by 50%, and when the character uses the Steam reaction, the damage dealt is increased by 50%. When a character uses the Freeze reaction against an enemy, the character's attack power increases by 50% for 6 seconds.

At this stage, there are no auxiliary objects on the field, you will have to cause reactions yourself. To get all the buffs, it is recommended to take a Pyro, Cryo and Electro character into your squad.

Celestence

The opponents you will fight in the first difficulty of the stage:

• Hydro slime.
• Water Crushing and Water Spouting Phantasm

The challenge requires you to defeat 11 enemies in 180 seconds, and also pass the Expert level to switch to the “Decision” mode.

All opponents in the test have constant Hydro status and resistance to a given element. Do not take characters of this element into your squad, as they are useless.

Try to trigger the Charged, Steam and Freeze reactions to get all the blade mirage buffs and significantly increase your damage.

Determination< /h3>

This mode becomes available after completing the most difficult level from the “Celestial” mode. In it you have to defeat 15 enemies in 150 seconds. All the enemies you need to fight are level 95:

• Hydro Slimes.
• Crushing and Water Spouting Phantasms.

Enemies are similar to those in easier difficulty mode. Try to evoke the reactions listed in the mirage of blades to pass the challenge.

Complete the challenge in Resolve mode to get all the rewards for the third stage of the event:

Mirage of blades, effective in this test:

• Character energy recovery increases by 60%, damage from elemental explosion – by 50%.

Because buffs increase HP and damage from elemental explosions, it is recommended to take into your squad those characters who deal the main damage with their ultimate. This will make it easier to complete the test.

Celestiality





Enemies in the “Celestial” mode:

• Fatui : Pyro Agent
• Fatui Skirmisher: Anemo Fighter.
• Treasure Thieves: Hydro Chemist, Pyro Chemist, Handyman, Sailor, Grave Digger.

In battle you must defeat11 opponents in 180 sec. Complete Expert difficulty to advance to the next mode.



In each of the enemy groups there will be many Treasure Thieves . Try to defeat them quickly so that they do not interfere with the battle with stronger opponents.



Also activate your character's elemental explosions as you cool down to fully utilize the buffs from the blade mirage.

Determination

The “Resolve” mode becomes available after completing “Celestiality” on Expert difficulty. Complete the challenge in150 seconds. and defeat13 opponentsto complete this stage. All enemies haveLevel 95:

• Fatui: Pyro Agent.
• Mirror Maiden of Fatui.
• Fatui Skirmisher: Anemo Fighter.
• Treasure Thieves: Hydro Chemist, Pyro Chemist, Handyman, Sailor, Gravedigger.



< p>As in the previous difficulty level, try to destroy weaker enemies in order to fully concentrate on strong opponents in the future. Don't forget to use your squad members' ults to activate the blade mirage.

Complete the challenge in the “Resolve” mode to get all the rewards for the fourth stage of the event:

• 2 instructions about “Evenhandedness”.
• 3 Unfinished Echoes of the Ancient String.

Links of Wrath



The fifth stage of the event is available for completion in the same arena where the previous battles took place. Teleport to the challenge to begin the fight.

Mirage of Blades for this stage:

• The character's attack speed increases by 25%. When a character's charged or falling attack hits a target, a shockwave appears at the opponent's location, dealing true damage. The effect can occur once every 2 sec.

To pass the test, it is recommended to take those characters who deal the main damage with charged attacks or attacks while falling. In this case, you will not have to perform additional actions to activate the mirage of the blades.

Celestiality





Opponents to fight in the first mode:

• Hydro shamachurl.

You need to defeat 12 opponents in 180 seconds. Complete the mode on Expert to receive rewards from previous difficulties.





Attack enemies with charged or fall attacks to cause shockwaves. They deal physical damage to all enemies around the active character. Use this feature to complete the level faster.

Determination





Enemies of the second mode:

• Lavachurl with a thunder helmet.
• Anemo and Hydro hilichurl rogues.< /li>
• Mitachurl with a fire and electric axe.
• Hilichurl fighter, Pyro shooter, berserker.

To unlock this mode, complete the previous one on Expert difficulty. All enemies in Resolve are level95. You need to defeat 16 enemies in 150 seconds.





Don't forget to hit your opponents with charged attacks or falling attacks to deal more damage to them. Also try to group enemies together to deal damage to all of them at once.

Complete the challenge in Resolve mode to get all the rewards for the fifth stage of the event:

• 3 Condensation of a pure dew drop.

Both fire and water



Move to the arena to begin the sixth and final stage of the event. This time the following mirage of blades is in effect in the battle:

• The character receives a 40% increase in healing bonus. While healing, attack power is increased by 20% for 8 sec. The effect stacks up to 3 times. During the test, a pneuma energy block will be present.

Celestiality





In the first mode you need to defeat the enemies:

• Special Mek: Construction.
• Mek: Geological Exploration and Quick Collection .
• Treasure Thieves: Pyro Chemist.

Defeat 9 enemies in 180 seconds on Expert difficulty to earn rewards from previous difficulties.





Use pneuma blocks in battle. Take energy and hit the mek with a normal or charged attack to weaken it.

Mirage of blades obliges you to take a healer into your squad. Try to receive healing from him at least once every 8 seconds to activate the attack power buff.

Resolve





The “Resolve” mode is available after completing “Celestiality” at the expert level. Enemies in this stage have 95 level:

• Special Mek: Construction.
• Mek: Geological Exploration, Improved Calculations and Quick Collection.
• Treasure Thieves: Pyro the Chemist.





In this mode you need to defeat 14 opponents in 150 seconds. Don't forget to use pneuma blocks and also heal your allies to get the blade mirage bonus.

Complete the challenge in Resolve mode to get all the rewards for the sixth stage of the event:

• 70 source stones.
• 2 instructions about “Order”.
