Genshin Impact Jinren Island Metal Keys – items scattered at different points of the island, and necessary to open the locked cages. After collecting all the keys and unlocking all the doors, you can find valuable prizes, access a hidden quest and earn a secret achievement by freeing Torataro.
In the guide we will tell you where to find all the metal keys and cages on Jinren Island, and show their location on the map.
Where to find the cage keys on Jinren Island in Genshin Impact
There will be four metal keys on the island in total: all of them lie on boxes scattered on wooden buildings. Another additional item will appear after interacting with the locked NPC.
Metal key 1
After teleporting to the island, jump down to the east. Here, on the box next to the stairs, you can pick up the first key.
Metal key 2
Next, move to a larger piece of land. You will find the second item on a pile of boxes near the blue flag in the western edge of the island.
Metal key 3
Move along the south coast, climb onto the wooden platforms and take the third key next to the rocky bluff.
Metal key 4
< p>The last key is on the building directly opposite the small part of the island with the teleporter.
Cage Key
This item will only appear in the world after talking to the person locked inside the cage at the very peak of Jinren.

The key will be thrown to the top of a nearby tree. Run to it, climb up and pick up the item.
How to find and open all the cages on Jinren Island
There are 5 sealed cages on the island, to open which the keys collected in the district will come in handy .
A cage with a dog

At the foot of the cliff, on the east coast, you will find a locked dog. By releasing it into the wild, you will earn an achievement, but do not rush to immediately head to another place. Follow the dog, which will run along the beach to a small piece of land with a dry tree trunk sticking out of it. In the end, it will stop, leading the hero to the Precious chest buried in the sand.
Cage with a man
At the very peak of the island's high ground, you will find an unknown person trapped inside a cage behind a closed door. Enter into a dialogue with a stranger, and then proceed to rescue him. This action will unlock the quest «Farmer's Treasure».
Fairy Cage
Below the place where the stranded man was released, find a hanging cage with a fairy inside. To release it, open the door while flying, or by holding on to a rock. In the same way, approach the spirit, activating its movement, and eventually you can get a regular chest.
Cage with a page

On the southwestern side of the hill, you will see a cage suspended above. To get to it and unlock the door, you need to climb to the top of the cliff, and then descend closer with the glider.
After opening, climb up the cliff again to jump down again and land inside. This way you will be able to find the hidden page needed for the Toki Street Stories collection.
Rich Chest Cage
After running around the rocks along the coast, you can find a rich chest in the north. He's locked up in one of the nobushi's wooden buildings.
