Mimetic Replication in Genshin Impact is one of the Trials of the Triumph of Reason game event in Update 3.6, in which players will have to participate in a mini-game from Amurth's darshan. During the event, it is proposed to control specially created models of Twilight animals, repeating the behavior of real creatures.

How to start the event
There are a couple of prerequisites to participate in Mimetic Replication:
- reach adventure rank 30 or higher;
- complete the Archons quest «The Approach of a New Star«.
Also, in order to make the game experience much more interesting, it is recommended to complete the Archons quest «Inversion of Existence» and the assignment of the legends of al-Haytham «Falcon. Chapter 1«, however, these requirements are optional.
Mimetic replication will begin April 27 at 12:00 Moscow time and will lastuntil May 15. Total to go 3 stages, each of which opens two days after the start of the previous one.
To unlock access to mini-games, you need to complete a short quest of the same name and talk to scientist Paz. In the future, all stages of this test will be launched through a dialogue with him.
Mimetic Replication Guide
At each of the three stages of the Mimetic Replication challenge, control one of the animal models: ferret, mushroom pig or fish. The main condition for completing the task will be the use of animal skills at a certain point in time, corresponding to the rhythm of the sounding melody. They are located in the lower right corner of the screen.
While playing as a ferret, the player will have to activate skills «Jump» for a low jump and «Bounce» for a high jump. Both skills are required to collect coins located on the field.
Playing as a peachfish requires several other actions. Activate the «Water Jump» skill to mimic the other two fish. In terms of duration, the action should exactly repeat the jumps of other animals.
