There are 18 Precious Chests in two regions of the northern desert. Let's look at the location of each of them on the map and describe the methods for obtaining them.
Precious chest 1 in the swamp of Asipattravan
Stands in Fatui Camp, guarded by Electro Hammerer, Geo Caster, Pyro Musketeer. Take on Cryo, Hydro and two-handed characters: Chun Yun, Laila, Xing Qiu, Noelle, Keia.
Precious Chest 2 on the coast of Samudra (puzzle)
Located at the top of a cliff and surrounded by three bonfires with dancing hilichurls. Extinguish the bonfires and unlock access to the reward.
Precious Chest 3 at the Gates of Zu-l-Qarnain
Located in the Hilichurl camp, which is home to an outcast Hydro Hilichurl. Defeat the enemies and collect the reward.
Precious Chest 4 underground in the Tuniga Gap
To get to the reward, first open the hidden teleportation point in Gavireh Lajaward. Start from the previously closed teleport, turn and go right to the camp of treasure thieves guarding a sealed amazing chest. Next to him, from the sand, a precious chest inconspicuously peeks out. It can be opened without even dealing with enemies.
Precious Chest 5 in Tuniga Gap
In Camp Fatui, south of the epicenter of the breach. Team up with Cryo and Hydro characters as the camp is guarded by the Pyro Musketeer and Electro Mage of the Cicine.
Precious chest 6 underground in the Tunigi Gap
It's easier to start from the second hidden teleporter in Gavireh Lajaward. From the central hall, run to the right along the corridor, to the next round room, in which you need to jump down to the arena with mechanisms and defeat them. This fight is necessary to complete the world quest “When the Light of Hvarna Manifests”, so it is almost impossible to miss this chest.
Precious chest 7 in the Asipattravan swamp (test)
Complete time trial in the swamp area for 2 minutes to collect 26 Dendro Particles. You'll have to jump on springy mushrooms and cling to four-leafed symbols to deftly move around the area. If successful, a chest reward will open at the end of the route.
Precious Chest 8 in Vurukash Oasis (Challenge)
Participate in a time trial that takes 2 minutes to assemble 60 particles. Jump on springy mushrooms, cling to four-leaf symbols and move between Dendro platforms to fly around the oasis and collect all the particles in time. A precious prize awaits at the end of the path.
Precious chest 9 underground in the Tuniga gap (test)
Can be found during the quest “When the Light of Hvarna Manifests”, but it's easy to miss. Complete the Time Trial of the flooded section north of the main room of the ruins with the secret teleporter.
During the test, use the Anemo air currents to move from pipe to pipe and collect particles. Success guarantees a precious chest near the sleeping hilichurl at the end of the route.
Precious chest 10 underground on the coast of Samudra (test)
You'll need to complete the Nirodha quest to get to this zone and the Farahkert Realm's hidden teleporter, which is the easiest place to run from. The chest is located on the 2nd floor of the central testing ground, which is a large circular room. To open it, you will need to pass a time trial, in which you need to collect 15 particles in 1 minute.
Precious chest 11 underground in the Tunigi gap (puzzle )
In this case, from the underground teleporter in the caves of the breach, run west. Make your way to the barrier, which can take out Hvarna, hidden nearby under a stone block. Clear the blockage and lead the fairy to the passage to open the path to the puzzle hiding the prize.
Inside, use Sorush with her Vine Spirit Activation skill. Use it in the correct order shown in the screenshot above. The default activation button on PC is E. Precious chests 12, 13 and 14 in Vurukash Oasis (shunyata flower puzzle)
To get 3 rewards in the area of the oasis of Vurukashi, use the Sorush skills in the glades of shunyata flowers to:
- Clear the flowers of corruption by activating them in the correct sequence in Sorush's flight mode.
- Next, switch to the character, activate the amrita Pyro flies that appear with a charged shot.
- Switch back to Sorush and guide the flies to buds to fully revive the flowers.
In addition, as part of solving these puzzles, you will receive not only precious, but also rich chests.< /p>
Precious Chests 15 and 16 in Vurukash Oasis (Fly Challenge)
These 2 prizes are obtained by completing Fly Time Trials. Go to the sealed chests, touch the flies, and they will scatter around. The task is to collect them within the allotted time and return them back, after which the block will be removed from the treasure.
Precious chests 17 and 18 in Barsom hills (tests on kori drums)
Solve the rhythm puzzle on 2 kori drumsin a cave in the Barsom Hills, a location north of the swamp. The first reel is visible from the entrance, and the passage to the second is opened by Hvarnoy. She was put in a cage by hermits, who also took a fancy to this cave. Play the instruments by striking them according to the scores depicted on the rocks.
