The Realm of Insidious Illusions in Genshin Impact is part of the End of the Road quest. The traveler, along with other heroes, will have to explore the mysterious dungeon at the Day of the Rift, face the ghost of a yaksa from the past and go through a series of mysterious spaces.
In this guide, we will tell you how to go through the Realm of Insidious Illusions, find clues, turn the arrows of the mystical compass and enter a new space.
How to get into the Realm of Insidious Illusions
The dungeon is located on the Day of the Rift. Not far from the area where Kouki Shinobu and Itto rest, there is a passage to the cave. Run there, and inside you will find a yellow hole in the wall that they made. Cross it.
Immediately after the passage you will see a blue portal : it is the entrance to the desired subspace.
Genshin Impact Realm of Insidious Illusion
In order to pass the tests of the Realm of Insidious Illusions, there is no need to set up a special squad, since only two trial heroines will be available for battle – Yan Fei and Ye Lan. Enemies in the dungeon include Pyro Agent Fatui, Skirmishers Fatui, and Treasure Thieves.
Immediately after entering the mysterious dungeon, a small dialogue will start. Then the heroes will find the Treasure Thieves and decide to deal with them: only Yan Fei will be available for battle.
Find new clues in space
Having dealt with the treasure thieves, start looking for clues . In the corner in the northeast of the location you will find a note – it is highlighted with a yellow marker. Pick it up and then run to the mystical compass.
You will see near the devicebranch: it is best to destroy it now. To do this, simply hit it with your character's normal attack.
Before leave this dungeon room, eliminate two Geo barrels.You will find them on the slope on the south side. You can blow it up with an aimed shot from an archer or by attacking any hero.
After doing all these steps, use the mystical compass. To adjust it, you need to turn the arrow forward once. Then run to the entrance to the tunnel, and inside it follow the gate.
Enter the new space
Once you cross the portal, a dialogue will begin, and then a battle with the Cryo Bomber, Pyro Musketeer and Agent Fatui. Only two characters will be available for battle – trial Ye Lan and Yan Fei.
After the battle, you need to find a way to get to the next location. First, run to the grate in the corner and pick up the second letter next to it. Then interact with the lever on the right side of the bars to raise it, as in the next room this action will no longer be available and you will have to go back.
After these steps, run to the compass and move the arrow two times in the direction of forward, to the rightmost sign. The color of the portal will change from blue to red: enter it, cross the path between spaces and enter a new one.
If the compass branch was not destroyed in the previous version of the space, you will not be able to turn the arrow because of the tree. Set the mechanism to leftmost sign and remove the branch by hitting it with a simple attack. Turn the forward arrow to enter space and press forward again.
Enter the new space
Once in the red room, participate in the conversation of the heroes, and then a new battle will begin. This time the playable character will be Xiao and the enemy will be Bosacius. However, you won't have to fight: the enemy doesn't take damage, so dodge his attacks for a while.
After the fight between Xiao and Bosacius is over, start looking for a way to get to the next version of space. To start, pick up the third letter marked with a yellow marker.
Next, go to the compass. It is hidden behind a web: get rid of it with the characters' attacks. Then move the arrow back two times, to the lowest character.
If done correctly, the passage will glow yellow. Enter it.
Enter the new space
When you find yourself in a new location, you will see a cut-scene with the heroes talking about the fourth part of the notes. After receiving the last letter, run to the compass.
This time, move the arrow once in the backward direction and cross the blue gate colors.
Go through the Abyss
The portal will lead the characters into the Abyss. Cross this place with the Traveler.
At some point, the main character will see his twin. Follow him, however, as soon as you get close, he will evaporate, and an unknown object will remain in his place. Examine it to trigger a cutscene.
Leave this space
To leave the space, pick up the Precious Chest with a reward, and then talk to the characters standing nearby. This will complete the quest.
The next stage is the Light at the end of the tunnel.
Rewards
As a reward for completing the quest and solving of all the puzzles in the Realm of Insidious Illusions, you will receive a Precious Chest, and with it:
- adventure experience x30;
- Geo stamps x4;
- artifacts and weapons .
